Our LCD84-0137 ProtoTRAK is a modern 8.4″ TFT LCD monitor that replaces the original 9″ monochrome CRT monitor fitted to ProtoTRAK controls that were extensively used by XYZ Machine Tools in the UK, and Southwestern Industries in the USA.
The ProtoTRAK AGE 3 is electrically and mechanically compatible with the original CRT monitor, and is easily swapped in a few simple steps. The default setting typically gives a perfect picture straight out of the box. If adjustment is needed, an On Screen Display (OSD) gives you full control of Brightness, Contrast, Horizontal Position, Vertical Position, Vertical Size, and Horizontal Size. The settings are automatically saved on exiting, and stay saved even when the power is turned off.
The video signal and 12V DC power to the ProtoTRAK monitor is supplied via the 10 pin edge connector that is used on the original CRT monitor. Our specially designed, energy efficient display uses less than a quarter of the power of the old CRT monitor, lowering your running costs and taking the strain off the machine power supply which will help prolong the life of your machine.
The ProtoTRAK’s new LCD display has a crisp, 8.4″ screen which gives the same effective viewing area as the old 9″ CRT.
All of our LCD monitors are CE marked for your safety and have a full 1 year manufacturers warranty, supported by us in the UK.
